Jim Lavoie, a long time resident of Milaca and
Minneapolis, Minnesota, represents exclusively persons who have
been injured or have lost loved ones. Practicing since 1977, he

lawyer directory. Contributing to his success are his diverse

Foundation
Mr. Lavoie began his practice as a prosecutor,
serving as Mille Lacs County attorney, then turned to private
practice in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In 1991, he moved his practice
to Minneapolis, but remains a resident of Milaca and is active in
the Milaca community. Jim is proud to say that a great many of his
clients come from the Milaca and north central Minnesota region.
Jim has developed his client base as much from being on the lake
and in the fields of Minnesota as in the court room. He's
comfortable in both boots and wingtips and relates to a wide
variety of personalities.
Mr. Lavoie is certified as a Civil Trial
Specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association. He's
been voted a Super Lawyer ® in the
area of personal injury in annual polls of Minnesota lawyers
conducted by Minnesota Law & Politics and Mpls St
Paul magazine. He is also qualified as a neutral arbitrator
and mediator.
